EasyID DoD Certifications
Since 2003, AMEDD facilities around the country have depended on EasyID to provide positive patient identification and forms automation. The implementation of EasyID allows MHS/DoD hospitals to replace existing embossers, introduce mobile barcode scanning and improve overall patient safety.
After receiving an Army CoN (Certificate of Networthiness) in 2010, EasyID staff began the extensive process of completing a DIACAP (DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process) in order to operate within DoD hospitals. The completion of a DIACAP provides certification that EasyID products have been thoroughly vetted and are approved for use by all branches of the military. After more than a year of intensive testing, EasyID received a DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) for its identification software, EasyLABEL, a module of the full EasyID® product suite.

Custom Essentris InterfaceDeveloped in conjunction with an AMEDD facility, the Custom Essentris Interface works with EasyFORM to facilitate communication between the Essentris order entry system and CHCS, eliminating duplicate manual data entry and reducing errors by scanning orders directly into CHCS.
The implementation of the Essentris Interface allows users to save time, improve efficiencies and increase patient safety by using computer confirmation to ensure the order matches the patient. |
EasyID ProductsEasyLABEL generates barcoded labels, wristbands and ID cards to improve patient safety and drive barcode enabled systems. It seamlessly integrates into your information system environment so you quickly begin to realize the benefits.
EasyFORM provides forms automation with data merge and rules driven workflow. EasyFORM will help you prepare for the EMR, eliminate embossed cards or patient ID labels, improve workflow and save thousands of dollars per year in preprinted forms costs. EasyID-MOBILE brings affordable positive patient identification to point of care and helps meet JCAHO Patient Safety Goals with multiple computer confirmed identifiers. Clinicians can print identification labels for specimens in the presence of the patient. A unique design using 2D barcodes makes all of this possible without the need for a costly wireless infrastructure. EasyCAM is an add-on module for EasyID that enhances positive patient identification by providing the ability to capture a patient photo using inexpensive webcam hardware. Using EasyID, the photo can then be associated with a patient identifier and printed on a wristband, ID card, other document, and stored in the EasyID database or interfaced to another system using EasyARCHIVE. EasySIGN adds electronic signature capture to EasyID by creating a digital image of the form requiring signature then capturing the signature and any other markings using a digitized pad while the patient writes on the original paper copy. The patient then takes the original as their copy and the digital copy is securely stored in the EasyID database. EasyID-REPORTS is a new tool designed to provide designated EasyID users the ability to report on valuable information, such as workflow, user activity and all lists, contained in EasyID. ADSync allows for seamless integration with a properly organized Windows Active Directory to significantly minimize the administration of the users in the EasyID system. Disaster Recovery and DOWNTIME provides 'Network Down' downtime capabilities by allowing patient information to be entered into a stand-alone system with the ability to print labels, wristbands, forms and PDF's merged with patient data, even if the ADT interface or network is down. |
